Save Britain's Heritage
Celebrating 50 years of heritage activism with a year of strategic video content.
Outline:
To mark their 50th anniversary, SAVE Britain’s Heritage partnered with Mambo Video on a year-long content strategy designed to honour their legacy and grow their audience. This included a landmark feature documentary charting SAVE’s impact over five decades, event films capturing key moments throughout the year, and short-form content tailored for social media — all aimed at deepening engagement and amplifying their mission in today’s climate-conscious world. Results:
The full suite of videos — from the feature documentary to short-form and event films — boosted awareness, deepened engagement, and brought SAVE’s mission to new audiences. Together, they now serve as lasting tools to communicate impact, inspire support, and engage stakeholders at events and online. -
Glasgow Building Preservation Trust
Communicating this charity’s impressive legacy in Glasgow’s complex history of urban renewal
Overview:
This heritage charity has spent over 40 years saving Glasgow’s historic buildings — yet many locals remain unaware of its impact. We were commissioned to create a short documentary to tell their story, explain the context in which they were founded, and show why their work still matters. Results:
The film reached over 10000 viewers and struck a chord with audiences. It stands as both a celebration of past achievements and a bold statement of intent for the future. -
LUC - Land Use Consultants
Helping an Environmental Consultancy address key challenges in the business with strategic videos
Outline:
LUC, an environmental consultancy founded in the 1960s, asked Mambo Video to create films that support key business goals — from recruitment to highlighting award-winning work. The focus: attracting talent to their often-misunderstood landscape planning team, and showcasing the transformation of Glasgow’s Claypits into a vibrant urban nature reserve. Results:
We produced a recruitment film featuring real voices from LUC’s planning team, offering an authentic look into the role and its impact. For the Claypits, we created a cinematic case study capturing the site's transformation and LUC’s vision for integrating nature into city life. -
Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival
Video partner for six years — capturing the spirit of a city and its festival.
Outline:
Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival celebrates the city’s architecture, culture, and heritage by giving public access to normally hidden spaces. As the festival’s video partner for six years, Mambo Video has created trailers, documentaries, and digital content to promote and enhance the event — adapting each year to shifting formats, audiences, and, in 2020, the challenge of going fully online. Results:
Our three standout films for the 2020 digital edition became the most-viewed content in the festival’s history, with over 120,000 views. Over six years, our work has become central to the festival’s outreach, helping attract new audiences and tell Glasgow’s story through its people and places. -
